The ID jury picked 21 products that take a real step forward. Our editors wrote an article on ID.nl about every winning product.
Not a look back at what has already proven itself, but a spotlight on what comes next. Entry is free and open to any brand, and the judging rests entirely with our editors.
The award
One award, with more than one winner. There is no overall winner and no ranking, because a strong autumn produces more than one product worth watching.

ID Innovatie Award 2027
Any product the jury sees as a genuine step forward. There is no ranking, so no second or third place: every product they choose is a winner, and the number depends on the strength of the entries.
Who decides
The jury
Five editors and editors in chief of ID, Computer!Totaal and Computer Idee pick the winners from the nominees. No public vote and no paid influence: the verdict is editorial.
ID publishes technology journalism every day and has over 1.4 million followers across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. That is the stage. How much of it comes your way depends on how far you get.
Free for every nominee
If your product is nominated
- Your own page on ID.nl about the product, with your images and an editorial write-up
- A Nominee badge and its own verification page on ID.nl. You may use the badge on your website, in press releases and in your online store
- A mention when we announce the nominees
Also free
If your product wins
- Your own article on ID.nl about the winning product, written by our editors
- The jury’s reasoning alongside it, so readers see why the product won
- A place on the winners page and in the awards announcement
- A mention in the ID newsletter
All of that is free and separate from the judging. A brand that wants to use the award more widely hears from its account manager with a fitting proposal, once nominations have been decided. That carries no weight in the judging, and the editorial panel is not told which brands are interested.
The rules
New, or only just out
Not on sale yet, or on sale for no more than three months. These awards are for what is coming and what has only just arrived.
Make the case
What can this product do that competing products cannot? This is what our editors assess, so make the case clearly in your entry.
1 product image, may follow later
Not required to submit: you can add them later through your entry link. A definitive nomination needs 1 image at least 2000 pixels wide. Video and supporting documents are welcome too.
Embargo is fine
We keep your entry confidential and publish nothing about the product before the embargo date and time you set.

Brands entered their products through the form, until 11 September 2026 at 23:59 CEST.

Editorial review and nominations
An editorial panel reviews every entry for innovation. Each nominated product receives its own page on ID.nl and a Nominee badge.

Judging
The jury picks the winners from the nominees and writes down, for every winning product, why it won.

Winner announcement
We announced the winners on 21 October 2026 at 10:00 CEST, with an article on ID.nl for every winning product.
Independence
Entry and nomination are free. Our editors choose the nominees and a jury from ID chooses the winners. Anything a brand arranges with ID.nl beyond that is discussed by the account manager only once nominations have been decided, and has no bearing on them. The editorial panel is not told which brands are interested.
